1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

safety warnings and the instructions. Failure to
follow the safety warnings and the instructions may

ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS FOR PORT-
ABLE FANS
• Do not use the jobsite fan if switch does not turn
on or off. A fan that cannot be controlled with the
switch can be dangerous and must be repaired.
• Disconnect the battery or adapter connection
from fan or place the switch in the locked or
off position before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing the fan. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the fan accidentally.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use
this fan near water, especially when it is powered
by the power cord.
• Keep the fan dry, clean and free from oil and
grease. Always use a clean cloth when cleaning.
Never use brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, or any strong solvents to clean
the portable fan. Following this rule will reduce
the risk of loss of control and deterioration of the
enclosure plastic.
• Clean only with a dry cloth.
• Do not operate near any heat sources such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appara-
tus (including amplifiers) that produces heat.
• Know your fan. Read the manual carefully. Learn
its applications and limitations, as well as the
specific potential hazards related to this fan.
Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric
