5. Troubleshooting
5.1 No power
• If the Nightfox fails to turn on, check for defective,
missing, or improperly-installed batteries. Replace
or install batteries correctly.
Please make sure to use only alkaline or lithium AA
•
batteries. If just one of the 8 batteries are dead,
this can result in no power or poor battery life.
5.2 Poor image
If you wear glasses, keep them on while using the
•
Nightfox.
When using the Nightfox in bright light or daylight,
•
attach the lens cap In conditions of low light or
darkness, make sure it is off.
Check that the Nightfox is focused by adjusting the
•
focus wheel at the front bottom of the device.
• When using the Nightfox at further distances, you
may wish to use an additional infrared torch to
boost the night-time viewing range.
