ESE MANUAL TESTER SIXXI, (SI-TESTER)
Description and purpose
Easily test on-site the state of an nVent ERICO System 1000 Early Streamer Emission Terminal, SIXXi models.
The test result is displayed in summary with display of the <OK> (green led) or <Default> (red led).
The tester is self-contained and operates on a standard 9 V battery, type PP3, which is placed on the back of the case. In
case of battery failure, <Bat> lights up intermittently (yellow led) then the battery needs to be changed.

The SI-TESTER-POLE is a deployed telescopic pole of 9m long (folded length: 2.55m) in order to reach ESE
terminals at 10m height.
Instructions
The use on site is limited to the connection of the red terminal of the tester to the tip of the Terminal (directly by alligator clip
or via the white cable of the SI-TESTER-POLE and the second in black, by alligator clip, to the body of the ESE, or to its
mast, or to the nearest down conductor to which it is connected.
The test is carried out by pressing the 2 buttons with the nVent logo present on the housing (with both hands so as not to
touch the lightning terminal during the test) for a period of approximately 6 seconds, until the result appears of the test
resulting in the green flashing led <OK> or red <Default>.
