Working with the HT-GT-600SP
3.6.1. STARTING THE ENGINE:
a) The device is supplied without oil. Oil should be filled before the first startup.
b) Check the oil level before each start-up. The oil level must always be between the min. and max.
on the dipstick. Always use SAE-30 oil.

Detention:
Release both clutch handles.
Move the throttle lever to the stop position.
3.6.2. Work
Before using the machine, remove all foreign objects from the work area. Stones, glass, branches, and similar
objects can damage the machine. Also, check that all screws are tightened.
Never attempt to move the machine other than as intended for normal use when the engine is running.
KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE OF 15 METERS.
The machine has a low center of mass and large wheels. This makes it suitable for slopes of up to 15%.
Warning: Avoid driving on slopes steeper than 15%, as in this case, the engine will lack lubrication, which may
lead to damage.
The machine's workload should balance its performance.
This is ensured by always maintaining the same constant speed on the machine head. Avoid a drop in speed.
A drop in speed on the trimmer head can be a sign of overload.
When the machine is running and with the engine running, do not leave the work zone marked by the arrows
in Figure B9. If it is necessary to leave the work zone, for example, to install accessories, stop the engine first.
3.6.3. Cutting height adjustment
Follow the adjustment procedure shown in Figure B10 .
It is possible to adjust the cutting height on the trimmer head in several positions from 45-120 mm.
To adjust the cutting height, loosen the two 4 mm screws. The trimmer head can then be adjusted up and
down. After selecting the desired cutting height, tighten both screws again.

The device should be cleaned after each use. Use water and use a garden hose to wash away any
remaining soil and dirt. Remove the trimmer head from the trimmer axis to remove stuck grass, etc.
from the rotor shaft. Clean the chassis only with a damp cloth.
b)
Pull the mains plug and let the unit cool down completely before cleaning, adjusting or replacing
accessories and when the unit is not in use.
Wait until the rotating parts stop.
•
c)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning surfaces.
d)
After each cleaning, all parts should be thoroughly dried before the device is reused.
e)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
f)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
