INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Before the first use, remove the grill (1) and the heating element (2) and clean the appliance as described in
the maintenance and cleaning paragraph.
• Connect and switch on the barbecue for 5 minutes without food because with the first use, smoke will be
released from the heating element.
• You can place the grill (1) of the barbecue at two heights that allow you to position it closer to or farther away
from the resistance, depending on the food you are going to cook.
• Depending on the height you want, insert the rack legs into the corresponding holes in the base.
• The change from one height to another should always be done when the barbecue is cold.
• Pour water into the tray (3) before connecting the appliance (1.5 litres maximum). When using, evaporation
is produced, then you must add water regularly. This will avoid that the smoke can occur when fat falls into
the tray.
• When pouring the water, be sure the water doesn't touch the heating element.
VERY IMPORTANT:
- The heating element must be perfectly fitted in its housing, since the device has a safety system that
prevents operation, if it is out of place or poorly positioned.
- To do that, first insert the 2 bars at the end of the heating element (2) into the small lateral holes of the tray
(3). Next, insert the heating head into the base (4).
- Place the grill (1).
• Connect the appliance to the mains. Turn the knob to the maximum power.
• The pilot light (5) will light on.
• Wait for the heating element (2) to warm up. Then place the food on the grill (1).
• While you are cooking, you can turn the thermostat to the desired temperature.
• To switch off the appliance, turn the thermostat to the "0" position and unplug from the mains.
