PEAK
(Available as standard or accessory/spare part)
The peak can be adjusted in two positions by turning it upwards or downwards Fig.14).
When riding on the road, the peak should be adjusted to the highest "0" posi-
tion (Fig.14).

DISASSEMBLY
To disassemble the peak, first remove the side cover plates (see instructions above)
and the side rings.
1.1 Pull the left side mechanism release small piston towards the rear of the helmet
until its limit stop (Fig.6).
1.2 Lift the peak front until it is completely released from the mechanism; then lightly
push the visor towards the rear of the helmet (Fig.7); then pull the peak away from
the helmet.
1.3 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.

ASSEMBLY
2.1 Place the peak on the shell; fasten the rear part of the peak under the left mecha-
nism by pressing it towards the helmet (Fig.7).
2.2 Pull the left side mechanism release small piston towards the rear of the helmet
until its limit stop (Fig.6) and then press the peak against the mechanism. Release
the release small piston until you hear a fastening click.
2.3 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.
2.4 Always reassemble both side rings and side cover plates (see instructions above).
WARNING
-
When riding on the road, the peak should be adjusted to the highest "0" position
(Fig.14).

Check that the mechanisms are working properly and that the side cover plates
and side rings, if any, have been properly assembled. Turn the peak upwards or
downwards checking that the mechanisms hold it in the two different positions. If
necessary, follow the previous operations mentioned above.

Do not force the peak over its limit stop: this may cause damages to the peak,
mechanisms or side cover plates.

Do not use the helmet if the peak, the rings and side cover plates have not been
properly assembled.

Never remove the side mechanisms from the shell.

Should any of the side mechanisms fail or be damaged, please refer to a Nolan-
group authorised dealer.
