22. Do not pull the power plug out
of the electrical outlet by the
power cord.
23. Place the appliance on a

wide, even, stable, dry and
heat-resistant surface able
to support the combined
weight of the appliance and its
contents.
24. Connect the mains plug to an
easily accessible socket, in
order to quickly disconnect the
appliance from the mains
supply in an emergency.
25. Danger of burns and
scalding! Be aware that
the appliance, the water
inside the appliance and the
inserted GN containers can
become very hot. Do not touch
the hot surfaces. Always use
kitchen gloves to insert or
remove GN containers and
always use a kitchen tool to
insert or remove foodstuffs.
Always wait until the appliance
is completely cooled down
before removing GN
containers.
26. Caution: Never use the
appliance without water
or let it run
dry! During
operation,
make sure the water level lies
between the MIN and MAX
marking to avoid damaging
the appliance and to prevent
accidents. The GN containers
should never float on top of
the water.
27. If you use an extension cord or
a multi-socket unit, it must have
an appropriate power rating.
28. Keep a minimum distance of
10cm between the appliance
and walls or other objects.
Never place the appliance
near flammable objects, such
as curtains.
29. Never move the appliance
while it is operating, hot and/or
filled with water.
30. Do not leave the appliance
unattended while it is
operating.
31. Always use the appliance
with clear cold or warm water.
Never fill any other liquids into
the appliance. Make sure that
the drain tap is closed and that
no water is leaking while filling
the appliance. Wipe spilled
water up immediately.
32. Never fill foodstuffs directly
into the appliance or into the
water inside the appliance.
Always fill foodstuffs into GN
containers.
33. Danger of electric
shock! The appliance
is splash-proof (IPX3).
Do not use it in close proximity
of water and other liquids or in
environments where water and
