Charging
Remove the protective cover from the
charging socket (6) on the speaker.
Connect the USB charging cable provided
to a 5V USB charger and connect the USB
charging cable's connector to the charging
socket on the speaker.
Before using the speaker for the fi rst time, it
must be charged for at least 2 hours.
The LED indicator (5) lights up red while the
speaker is charging. When the LED indicator
goes out, the speaker is fully charged. For
subsequent charges, the speaker must be
charged for around 4 hours.
Remove the charging cable from the
charging socket and replace the protective
cover in the charging socket.
Setting up a connection via Blue-
tooth
Switch the speaker on by holding the on/off
button (1) down until the LED indicator
rapidly fl ashes blue. The speaker is now
visible to your smartphone (or tablet, etc.)
Let your smartphone search for available
Bluetooth devices.
Select the "Splashproof speaker" device on
your smartphone.
When the LED indicator lights up blue, the
speaker is paired. Now, each time the speaker
is switched on, it will search for the paired
device for about 3 seconds. If the device
cannot be found, the speaker will become
visible to other devices and can be paired
again.
Play music on your smartphone and control
the playback and volume using the buttons
(2/3/4) on the speaker. The LED indicator
slowly fl ashes blue during playback.
Press and hold the button (4) in order to
disconnect.
Press the on/off button to switch the speaker
off .
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe the speaker down regularly with a well-
wrung cloth.
Fully charge the speaker at least once a
month, regardless of whether or not you use
it.
Store the speaker in a dry, dust-free location.
When the built-in battery in the speaker is
worn out, the speaker must be disposed of.
The battery cannot be replaced.
