· Check the power cord before every use for damage. void it being squashed or kinked, scrubbing on sharp
edges or in contact with hot surfaces. If the power cord is or becomes damaged, it must definitely be replaced.
· Never use the device if you discover damage, if water has entered the housing, or if the device has fallen.
Never attempt to open or repair the device yourself. In case of malfunction, please only have it repaired by
qualified experts! Contact an authorized retailer for this.
Before the first use
· Please read through the operating instructions and safety advice carefully first.
· Remove all packaging material and dispose of it properly.
· Rinse the interior of the kettle with warm water. Wipe the outside with a soft cloth, slightly moistened if needed.
Caution: Do not use any caustic liquids or abrasive cleaning agents. Thoroughly dry it off afterwards.
· Unwind the cable completely and insert the plug into a suitable socket.
· Fill the kettle with cold water up to the M X - marking, close the lid completely and boil the water. Pour this
water away and repeat this process 2 – 3 times.
· The pour-over water kettle is ready for use now.
Use
· Place the base of the pour-over water kettle on a suitable surface (not on a metal surface; not on fabrics etc.).
· Pour the desired amount of water (between MIN and M X) and close the lid until it clicks into place.
· Place the kettle on the base plate and insert the power plug into a suitable socket.

· Choose the desired temperature by repeatedly pushing the ON/OFF button. If you don't choose another preset
temperature within 3 seconds, the electric kettle will start to heat up the water.
· During the boiling process of 70 °C to 95 °C you can select the warming function by pushing the thermometer
button. This function is not available if you boil water at 100 °C. The warming function can be chosen during
the boiling process only.

kettle on the base plate the water temperature will be kept at the selected setting (max. 30 minutes).

can be stopped by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button.

· When pouring the water, keep the lid closed. Risk of scalding! Please touch the kettle by the handle only.
· Attention: If you put too little water in (below the MIN marking), the service life of the heating coil can be shortened.
If you put too much water in (above the M X marking), the water can boil over and cause scalding.
Automatic Safety Cut-Off
The kettle is fitted with an automatic cut-off to prevent overheating, in case there is no or not enough water. If
this should occur, please switch off the kettle, remove the mains plug and wait for approx. 10 minutes. Thereafter
please fill it with water up to the MIN marking at least, reinsert the mains plug into the socket and switch on the
kettle as normal.
