Cleaning and care
Attention: Never immerse the pour-over water kettle, the base plate, the cable or the plug in water or other liquids
and do not clean these parts in the dishwasher, as this can cause a short circuit.
· Let the pour-over water kettle cool down and remove the plug from the socket before cleaning it.
· Wipe the kettle with a soft, slightly moistened cloth only and dry it off thoroughly.
· Wipe the base plate with a soft, slightly moistened cloth only. Make sure that the base plate is completely dry
before using the pour-over water kettle again.
· Do not use any sharp objects or spirit, solvent, scrubbing brushes or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning.
Decalcifying
From time to time, it may be necessary to decalcify your pour-over water kettle. The intervals are determined
by the lime content of your water. In the event of a small amount of lime having deposited itself in the water
container, we recommend using citric acid or vinegar for carrying out a gentle decalcification. If the appliance
switches off before the water boils, it probably needs to be decalcified.
· Fill the kettle up to the rim with a solution of citric acid or vinegar (in case of an intense calcification a
decalcification agent should be used).
· llow the kettle to stand until the lime has completely dissolved.
· Pour off a part of the solution until the liquid level is between the MIN and the M X marking. Bring the solution
to a boil at 100 °C and pour it away afterwards.
· Refill the pour-over water kettle with clear water up to the M X marking and bring it to a boil again at 100 °C.
· Rinse the water kettle thoroughly with clear water.

Warranty
We cover this device with a warranty of 2 years from the purchase date. Damages due to normal wear,
unauthorized use, improper treatment, incorrect use, lack of care and cleaning, willful destruction, transport or
accident, and repair by unauthorized persons are excluded from this warranty. Contact your dealer in case of
a warranty claim. The warranty can only be honored if the device is accompanied by the sales slip/receipt.
