vated. The repeater function is enabled even if a WiFi connection has
not yet been established.
Register in the Alpha Smart Cloud
In order for the device to be integrated into the Alpha Smartwaresys-
tem and communicate with other devices, it must first be registered in
the Alpha Smart Cloud.
The following requirements must be met for the commissioning of the
Alpha Smartware Gateway:
– Easily accessible and permanently installed socket with protective
contact of the house installation.
– Internet access
– WiFi according to IEEE standards 802.11b, 802.11g or 802.11n (2.4
GHz) with automatic address assignment (DHCP) and WPA or WPA2
encryption.
– Download and Installation of the Alpha Smart App for Android from
version 5.0 (in Google Play Store) and iOS from version 13.0 (in the
App Store).
