• Do not use an outlet or extension cord if the plug fits loosely or if the outlet or
extension cord feels hot.
• Do not immerse this appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Longer extension cords are available, but care must be exercised in their use.
While use of an extension cord is not recommended, if you must use one, ensure
that the marked electrical rating of the extension cord is equal to or greater than
that of the appliance. If the plug is of the grounded type, the extension cord must
be a grounding- type 3-wire cord. To avoid pulling, tripping or entanglement,
position the extension cord so that it does not hang over the edge of the counter,
table or other area where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
• Keep cord away from hot parts of the appliance and hot surfaces during operation.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Never use this unit near bathtub, shower, wash-hand basins, or other containers
with water.
• Never use the appliance with wet hands
• Warning: Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
• Caution: Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer, its service
agent, or similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
• This appliance incorporates an earth connection for functional purpose only.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and if they understand the hazards involved.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding. Accessory
parts may be contained within the packaging material. Before using, wipe the
outside of the kettle with a damp cloth then dry thoroughly. Fill the kettle half way,
then let it heat through one full cycle. Do not use this first filling of boiled water.
Discard it, rinse out the Kettle and refill with fresh water. This will eliminate any
residual manufacturing oils.
• A small amount of smoke and/or odor may occur upon heating due to the
release of manufacturing oils – this is normal.
• Some minor expansion/contraction sounds may occur during heating and
cooling – this is normal.
