· Remove the main plug every time after use, and also:
- in event of malfunction whilst in operation
- every time that it is being cleaned
Do not pull on the connecting cable but on the plug itself.
· Only use cookware with a proper, flat bottom with suitable diameter. With an uneven or
too small bottom energy is wasted. If the diameter of the bottom is too large, the heating
capacity of the plate may not be sufficient.
· Never let water splash on the hot heating plate!
· Do not use cookware made of plastic, porcelain, aluminum foil or inferior enamel.
Risk of burn!
· Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plug in water or other liquids. Do not clean
it in the dishwasher. Make sure that no steam or water will enter from below. It must not
be cleaned it with a steam jet appliance. Always keep the heating plate dry since
dampness and steam will result in rust formation.
· Never use the device if you discover damage, if water has entered the housing, or if the
device has fallen.
· Check the power cord before every use for damage. If the power cord is damaged, it
must definitely be replaced by the manufacturer, his service agent or similar qualified and
authorized experts in order to prevent hazards.
· Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the event of a malfunction,
have the appliance repaired by qualified experts only! Contact your authorized dealer
whenever the appliance is in need of repairs.
Before the first use
· Start by carefully reading the instructions for use and the safety instructions.
· Then remove all packaging materials and dispose of them properly.
· Only wipe off the housing with a soft cloth (slightly damp, if necessary).
Attention: Do not use any abrasive cleansers when cleaning!
· Unwind the cable completely and insert the plug into a suitable socket.
· Heat the appliance without a pot for approx. 5-10 minutes at maximum temperature. This
will give maximum protection to the coating of the plates. The slight smoke and odor that
will probably occur is completely harmless and results from protective oils, which were
applied during production. Ensure good ventilation in the room during this time.
· After the appliance has cooled down, it is ready for use.
