Use
· Place the mini hotplate on a suitable surface (no metal surface, no fabrics, etc.).
· Place suitable cookware onto the hotplate. Make sure that the diameter of the bottom
of the cookware fits to the diameter of the hotplate. The bottom of the cookware as well
as the hotplate must always be dry and clean.
· Insert the plug into a suitable socket. Attention: Ensure that the power cord does not
touch any hot surfaces of the housing or to other neighboring electrical appliances.
· Infinitely set the desired temperature level with the rotary knob by turning the knob to the
right. Pay attention to the acoustic "Klick" and to the illuminating indicator light. The light
lights up until the cooking plate is switched off again.
Attention: Overheated grease and oil can easily inflame. Assure permanent supervision.
· You can adjust the temperature with the rotary knob - at the beginning the temperature
can be slightly higher and then reduced as needed.
· Switch off the appliance by turning the rotary knob to the left until an acoustic "Klick" is
heard and the control lamp goes out.
· Always unplug the appliance after use and allow the appliance to cool down.
Automatic Safety Cut-Off
For safety reasons, the mini hotplate is equipped with an automatic safety shutdown should
the mini hotplate overheat. Immediately unplug and wait 10 minutes, after which you can
use the mini hotplate as usual.
Cleaning and care
· Always pull out the power cord before cleaning and allow the appliance to cool down.
· Do not use any sharp or pointed objects, benzine, solvents, scrubbing brushes or abrasive
cleaning agents for cleaning.
· Clean the housing with a dry or lightly dampened cloth only.
· Attention: Never immerse the mini hotplate, the cable or the plug in water or other liquids
and do not clean the appliance in the dishwasher.
· Make sure that the appliance is completely dry before using it again or storing it.
