• Before installating, please contact technical support service. Damage caused by the unit not
having been installed by an authorized installer may invalidate the device's warranties.
• The air conditioner must be installed by professionals according to the national wiring rules
and this manual.
• To move and install the air conditioner to another place, please contact technical support
service.
• A refrigerant leak test must be done after the installation.
• Avoid installation in places where flammable gases are stored or where there are corrosive
gases in the environment.
• Do not install in ATEX qualified spaces.
• Avoid places with strong artificial electromagnetic fields.
• Avoid places where there are high sound levels or with a lot of resonance.
• Avoid places where natural conditions (such as heavy smoke, strong wind, direct sunlight, or
high heat sources) are common.
• Avoid installing in places with easy access for children.
• Shorten the length of the connection of the indoor and outdoor machine.
• Choose easy places for maintenance, repair and ventilation.
• The installation of the outdoor machine cannot occupy corridors, stairs, emergency exits,
corridors and other public places inside the building.
• The installation of the outdoor machine as far as possible should be far from the doors and
windows of neighbors and areas of plants and vegetation.
• The support must meet the strength requirements of relevant national and industry
standards. The welding and the links must be carried out with an anti-rust treatment.
• The fastening area of the installation and the surface resistance must support more than 4
times the weight of the machine, and cannot be less than 200kg.
• The support must be fixed with expansion bolts.
• Any wall needs to guarantee its firmness and fixing capacity to prevent injuries from falls.
Requirements for operations at raised height
• For the installation of the outdoor unit at a height greater than 2m, approved, revised and
unexpired safety harnesses must be used. For the suspension of the unit, appropriate slings
must be used for the weight to be loaded, to avoid falls of workers or of the machine itself, and
thus avoid accidents at work.
• The air conditioner is a type I device, so it must ensure a reliable connection to ground.
• The ground wire of the air conditioner cannot be connected to gas pipes, water pipes,
lightning rods or telephone lines. In that case, the cable line to ground and will have poor
contact.
