IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
Read this manual carefully before use, as it contains important safety information
for the installation, use and maintenance of the product. The manual must be sto-
red carefully and handed over to the new user in the event of the equipment being
transferred to others. The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the
product specifications without prior notice. The technical data provided are approxi-
mate.
1. This appliance must be used exclusively for the purpose for which
it was designed, i.e. for room cooling; the Manufacturer shall not
be held liable for any damage or injury caused by improper use.
2. After removing the product from its packaging, check that it is
complete and that there are no signs of breakage, damage or tam-
pering.
3. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children, as they
can be dangerous.
4. The equipment may be used by children over the age of eight (or
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or
without the required knowledge or experience) only under super-
vision or once they have received appropriate training in the safe
use and potential hazards of the equipment. Children may not play
with the equipment. Cleaning and maintenance must only be per-
formed by the user and not by unsupervised children.
5. If the power supply cable is damaged, do not use the appliance
– have it replaced by the manufacturer or its technical support
service, or in any case by a suitably qualified person in order to
prevent any risk.
6. Do not allow the cable or plug to come into contact with hot sur-
faces.
7. The appliance must not be installed in areas in which flammable
gases or hazardous vapours may be present.
8. Do not expose the appliance to extremely dirty environments.
9. Always ensure that there is sufficient space around the appliance
for air to circulate.
10. Before plugging the device in, ensure that the mains supply volt-
age is the same as indicated on the data plate at the bottom of the
appliance.
