TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Problem
The power indicator light is
off.
It is difficult to fit the lid into
position.
Hard to open the lid.
Steam is leaking out of the
cooker.
Steam is escaping from the
float valve.
Possible causes
No power.
The rubber sealing ring or the
anti-blockage cover are not in
the right position.
The safety locking mechanism is
stuck in the float valve.
The float valve did not drop after
the pressure was released.
The lid is not properly in place.
The rubber sealing ring or the
anti-blockage cover have not
been placed in the lid.
There are remains of food on the
rubber sealing ring.
The rubber sealing ring is
damaged or broken.
There are remains of food inside
the float valve.
The float valve's rubber seal is
damaged or broken.
Solutions
Check the power cord
connection.
Correct the position of
the rubber sealing ring or
the anti-blockage cover.
Push the safety locking
mechanism inwards and
make sure it is in the
unlock position.
Use a wooden or plastic
utensil to gently knock
the float valve into
position.
Remove the lid and try
to replace in the correct
position.
Look for the rubber
sealing ring or the anti-
blockage cover and put
them into the correct
position, then replace
the lid.
Remove the remains of
food from the rubber ring
and clean it.
Replace the rubber
sealing ring.
Clean the valve and the
valve's rubber seal.
Send the pressure cooker
to the authorised technical
service to replace the float
valve's rubber seal or to
replace the entire valve.
