INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION
ATTENTION! Mounting must be performed by a qualified electrician only, with the electricity turned off to
avoid electric shock. Installation of the Mini Relay in a metal housing can impair communication with the
device. The bypass ❺ is designed to be used with the Mini Relay only.
1. Check that the Perenio® Control Gateway / IoT Router is installed, connected to the Internet and activated
in the Perenio: Smart Home and Office app.
2. Unpack the Mini Relay. Deenergise the area of installation. Perform electrical connections as shown in
Figure B (See the Installation and Operation Manual for wiring diagram options). Fasten wires to
connectors ❸ using a 3 mm flat screwdriver (not included in the delivery package).

Relay from the list and follow connection tips specified on the screen. The connection process shall be
performed by pressing the button ❶ on the device or by disconnecting the power network with a
mechanical switch.

SAFETY OPERATION RULES
Installation must only be performed on a de-energized area of the power network by a qualified electrician.
Please observe the operating and storage conditions, power network parameters (Voltage, load power), and
the wiring diagram. Please avoid short-circuit as it could damage the device. It is not allowed to drop, throw
or disassemble the device, to attempt to repair it on one's own, to expose it to liquids. The device may be
used for its intended purpose only. Do not disconnect the mains voltage for at least 5 minutes after the reset,
as well as for at least 10 minutes after the firmware update process is started.
TROUBLESHOOTING
 The Mini Relay is suddenly offline: The device is out of range of the Zigbee signal. Make sure that the
distance to the Control Gateway / IoT Router is within the coverage area of the relay antenna (up to 30 m
in enclosed spaces, up to 100 m in free space).
 Mini Relay is offline: Supply network failure. Check the power supply and contact the local power supply
