6. CHANGING CARBON BRUSHES

At the rear end of the clipper there is a screw cap to the carbon brushes on both sides.
These are accessible from the outside and can be easily replaced. With very frequent use,
the carbon brushes wear out and impair the performance of the machine. A sign would
be a clearly slower working speed of the clipper.
In such a case, open the covers from the sides, remove the worn out carbon brushes
and insert new ones. Make sure that the rounded sides of the carbon brushes match the
rounded sides of the motor. During the entire replacement process, make sure that no
dust or foreign objects that can cause damage to the motor enter the housing.
7. CLEANING AIR FILTER
The air filter is located at the rear end of the machine and must be cleaned regularly. Re-
move the filter and clean it with a dry brush. Ensure that no foreign matter or dirt enters
the housing. After cleaning, reinstall the filter. Do not use the clipper without an air filter!

8. MAINTENANCE

Prior to performing maintenance make sure the clipper is switched off and completely
disconnected from the power supply.
Cleaning: After clipping, remove the oil from the machine, head and blades with a dry
cloth and remove hair with a brush. Then lightly oil all parts to prevent rust build-up.
Even the smallest rust spots can impair the clipping result. The assembly of the blades is
described in point 4.b. Fitting blades.
