Warnings

and refer back to them when needed.

Safety Instructions
Dos
•
Immediately dispose of all packing materials that may
pose a suffocation risk.
•
Only plug into a circuit with an electrical surge pro-
tection device. (The surge protection device should
be properly grounded and plugged directly into a
grounded wall outlet.)
•
Always unplug bed from outlet before cleaning or
servicing.
•
Keep cord away from moving parts and heat-
ed surfaces.
•
Talk to your doctor if you have a pacemaker. (Some
pacemakers may detect bed motion as false move-
ment or exercise.)
•
Return your base to flat before switching between
preset positions.

Don'ts
•
Never operate with a damaged cord or plug.
•
Do not use outdoors or as a hospital bed. (This prod-
uct is designed solely for in-home use and has not
been tested to meet hospital standards.)
•
Do not use with oxygen or other flammable gases.
•
Do not allow children or pets to play under or on top
of the bed. Children should not operate without adult
supervision.
•
Do not exceed the weight restriction of 750 pounds.
•
Do not enter or exit the bed while raised.
•
Do not sit directly on the head or foot sections while
in raised positions.
•
Do not mix old and new batteries in the
remote control.
•
Do not mix alkaline, standard, or rechargeable
batteries in the remote control.

Product Ratings
This product does not need maintenance. Please do not open the motor compartments or modify any parts. Any modifi-
cation will void the warranty.
Motor Rating
The adjustable bed base motors should not be operated continuously for more than two minutes within an 18-minute
time period. Exceeding this rating will shorten the life of the motors and void the warranty.
