WArNING:
The blade coming into contact with the workpiece before
reaching full speed, could cause your saw to KICK BACK towards you resulting in
serious personal injury.
To Stop the Saw,
release the trigger switch. Allow the blade to come to a complete stop.
NOTE:
D
o not remove your saw from the workpiece while the blade is still moving.
TO EMPTY CHIP COLLECTION
CHAMBER (FIG 6)
The dry metal cutting saw is equipped with a built-in chip
collector. This collector must be emptied as the storage area fills
with debris. The chip collector viewing window also operates
as a door to empty debris.
• Make sure the saw unplugged.
• Pull downward at the top of the viewing area to open the
debris door (7) and empty the holding area.
• Lift the door upwards and snap it back into place.
WArNING:
Metal chips may be HOT! Let the chips cool before emptying the
collection chamber. DO NOT mix different materials in the chip collection chamber.
Empty the chip collection chamber every time you change cutting materials.
• Debris from the workpiece being cut is collected in the chip collection compartment. The compartment must
be emptied when it is full to ensure the saw operates in a proper manner.
• Make sure the chip collection chamber door is securely closed to reduce the risk of debris ejection.
APPLICATIONS
WArNING:
This tool is NOT intended to be used for cutting thin sheet metal
and corrugated roofing. Misuse of this tool could result in serious injury.
WArNING:
Do not plunge cut with this saw.
This tool is primarily intended for the longitudinally and transversely cutting of mild steels with a minimum
thickness of 1/8" and a maximum 1/4". It is excellent for cutting pipes and conduit up to 1-5/8" thick, as well
as softer material such as aluminum and copper. Please note the pre-installed blade on the dry cut metal saw
will also cut wood, chipboard, and plywood. Any other use or modification to the device shall be considered as
improper use and could give rise to considerable dangers.
