To Listen To Baby
• Turn on Nursery Unit using the ON/OFF switch.
• Turn on Parent Unit using the Power/Volume wheel.
• Adjust the volume on the Parent Unit by turning the Power/Volume wheel.
• The Sound Lights on the Parent Unit will illuminate as your child (or other
objects) make noise near the Nursery Unit. Please note that the Sound Lights
and volume control on the Parent Unit are independent of each other. With
the volume turned all the way down, the Sound Lights will still illuminate as
your child (or other objects) make noise near the Nursery Unit.
• To turn on the Vibration Alert Feature, set the switch on the
side of the parent unit to ON.
•To turn on night light, press the top of the night light button.
• To activate Static Filter Technology, slide the "SF" switch to the ON
position on the Parent Unit.
• When SF is activated, a sound filter will eliminate noises below a certain
threshold. This allows you to filter out the white noise and static in the
room, allowing you to hear only the sound of your baby.
• If no sounds inside the room are louder than the threshold, no sound
will be transmitted at all through the speaker. This should not be con-
fused with the monitor not working.
• To test that your monitor is working while Static Filter Technology is
enabled, ask another adult to speak into the Nursery Unit.
• If only one adult is available, place a ticking clock, radio, or other
sound-producing device near the Nursery Unit to test it.
• To deactivate Static Filter Technology, slide the "SF" switch to the OFF
position on the Parent Unit.
• This will discontinue any sound filtering and allow you to hear all
sounds, including white noise, coming from the Nursery Unit.
