Arepa with Avocado
Salad
Ingredients:
•
2 cups white corn flour
•
1 1/2 cups warm water
•
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
•
1 teaspooon of black pepper
•
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
•
1 avocado diced in small cubes
•
1 tomato diced in small cubes
•
Parsley
•
2 tablespoons of mayo
Steps:
•
Place corn flour, water, salt and oil in a large bowl and knead well with
hands
•
Form the dough into balls
•
Bake for 7-10 minutes or until fully cooked
•
Place all salad ingredients in a small bowl and mix in with the mayo and
pepper
•
Let the arepas cool for a few minutes, then carefully by using an oven
mitt slice it open and fill with avocado salad
