TO SET ALARM FUNCTION (DUAL ALARM)
In Standby off model:
1. Press and hold the AL. SET button, the alarm1 icon and HOUR time will
blink
2. Then press Next track (9) / Previous track (7) buttons to set the desired
Hour Time.
3. Press the AL. SET button, The MIN time will blink
4. Then press TUNE + / FAST FORWARD BUTTON OR TUNE - /
REWIND BUTTON to set the desired Min Time.
5. After setting the alarm to your desired time, press AL. SET button again.
You can now select whether the alarm should go on to Buzzer, Radio or
CD. (The alarm 1 icon will still blink in the display):
Wake to buzzer
This is the default setting (no indication on the display above the time),
Wake to Radio
Press the TUNE + / FAST FORWARD BUTTON OR TUNE - / REWIND
BUTTON until "FM" is shown in the display (above the time). At the set time
the alarm will go on at the radio station you last listened to.
Wake to CD
Press the TUNE + / FAST FORWARD BUTTON OR TUNE - / REWIND
BUTTON until the CD icon is shown in the display (above the time).
This feature only works when you have a CD inserted in the CD drive. This
CD will be played at the set alarm time
Wake to USB
Press the TUNE + / FAST FORWARD BUTTON OR TUNE - / REWIND
BUTTON until the USB icon is shown in the display (above the time).
This feature only works when you have a USB stick inserted in to the CD
players USB socket. The first song will be played at the alarm time.
6. Press the AL. SET button again to confirm your settings for Alarm 1.
7. The alarm icon (Alarm 2) appears and the HOUR time is blinking.
8. Repeat step 2-6 in order to set Alarm 2.
To select which of the 2 alarms should be active, press the AL. SET button
repeatedly while the unit is in standby mode (clock display). The display will
show consecutively the Alarm 1 icon, the Alarm 2 icon, or both Alarm icons.
Press the AL. SET button once again to deactivate the alarms (no alarm
icon will be displayed).
