For batteries with cell closures, remove the cell closures and check out the status of the battery charging. If the electrolyte
ź
level is below the recommended level, add distilled water.
For batteries without cell closures, carefully follow the manufacturer's charging instructions.
ź
Make sure that the vehicle's ignition is switched off (if the accumulator is connected in the vehicle).
ź
Connect the charger, always follow these steps:
ź
Insert the positive clamp of the charger (red) to the positive (+) terminal of the accumulator.
ź
Connect the negative clamp of the charger (black) to the negative (-) terminal of the accumulator.
ź
Plug the 230V plug into the mains.
ź
The charger automatically detects if the 6V or 12V accumulator is connected and the LEDs turn on accordingly.
ź
Use the MODE button to set the charging level of 2, 4 or 7.5 Amp, depending on the charging time and accumulator capacity.
ź
The current mode is displayed by LED indicator lights on the main panel.
After a short battery check, the charging process starts.
ź
The current accumulator voltage is displayed on the display.
ź
The red CHARGING indication light indicates the charging process.
ź
The charger is controlled by a microprocessor which, when the accumulator is charged, switches the charger automatically
ź
into a charged mode where the microprocessor maintains targeted charging without overcharging or damaging the
accumulator.
Always disconnect the charger from the 230V mains and after then from the accumulator after charging.
ź
If you have opened the battery cell closures, you must close them again
ź
Heavily discharged and damaged car batteries can not be charged by using this charger. If the 12V car battery voltage drops
below 8V, the microprocessor in the charger will mark the battery as damaged and will not charge it!
If the 12V car battery voltage drops below an acceptable level, the charger can evaluate this car battery as 6V and will not
charge it properly!
The manufacturer does not take responsibility for accidents or damages resulting from non-compliance with this manual.
Changes in text, design, and technical specifications could be changed without previous warning and we reserve the right to
change them.
Do not dispose power tools and devices into the household waste!
According to European Directive 2012/19 / EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and in the
enforcement of national law, used power tools must be collected separately and shipped to an appropriate
recycling plant.
