Basic information
This vice is constructed according to the state of the art and is operationally
reliable.
Nevertheless, hazards may arise if the device is not operated by trained or,
at the very least, instructed personnel, and/or if it is used other than for its
intended purpose.
Therefore, the instruction manual and safety instructions must be read prior
to commissioning in order to:

2.1
Intended use
Positioning and clamping of workpieces on machines for cutting and
non-cutting machining.
Only rigid, deformation-resistant workpieces must be clamped.
When clamping with grip (partial penetration of the clamping jaws into the
material), the clamping force can be reduced significantly.
2.2
Improper use
Crushing, pressing and compressing of materials and workpieces or any
other use not covered by the clamp's intended purpose.
