Application
Can be used in conjunction with:
• Pressurised storage heaters
• Thermally-controlled instantaneous heaters
• Hydraulically-controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with unpressurised storage heaters (displacement
water heaters) is not possible.
The filter head is fitted with a type-tested non-return valve.
The water filtrate is classified as Category 2 according
to EN 1717.
Safety notes
Avoid danger due to damaged power cords. In the
case of damage, the control unit must be replaced by
the manufacturer or his customer service department
or an equally qualified person.
• For hygiene reasons, the filter system must be flushed
before using for the first time.
• The filter system must always be operated with cold water of
foodstuff grade.
• The filter head must be replaced after 5 years.
• The control unit and plug must not be directly or indirectly
sprayed with water when cleaning.
• The control unit must be connected to a permanent power
supply.
• At the installation location, the filter system must be
protected against mechanical damage, heat and direct
sunlight.
Do not install near heat sources or an open fire.
• Installation of the fitting with filter cartridge is only permitted
in frost-free rooms.
• Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories.
The use of other parts will result in voiding of the warranty
and the CE identification.

Installation
Refer to the dimensional drawings on fold-out page I.
Install fitting, see fold-out page II, Figs. [1] and [2].
Important: The cable must not be pinched.
Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
(observe EN 806)!
Install filter cartridge, see Figs. [3] to [5].
The filter head can be swivelled forwards by up to 90° in the
wall holder to install the cartridge.
Use suitable screws and, if required, plugs.
Install control unit, see Figs. [6] and [7].
Important: Do not connect voltage supply yet.
Connect fitting, see Figs. [2], [8] to [10].
Open hot and cold water supply and check that
connections are watertight.
Connect voltage supply via mains plug, see Fig. [11].
The display illuminates and the remaining filter capacity is
displayed in per cent.
During initial operation or if the plug-in connector has been
disconnected, the fitting and the control unit must be
synchronised as follows:
