Use of the manual
This manual forms an integral part of the appliance and should be kept
for future reference. Please read it carefully before installing/using the
unit. If the appliance is sold, the seller must pass on this manual to the
new owner along with the appliance.

Delivery
The appliance is delivered partially assembled in a cardboard box.
The supply package is illustrated in fig.1.

4.3
Disposing of packaging
The packaging materials are not environmental pollutants but must still
be recycled or disposed of in compliance with the relevant legislation
in the country of use.

5.1
Intended use
The appliance is intended for use as an ash vacuum cleaner, in
compliance with the descriptions and safety precautions contained in
these instructions.
This appliance is designed for household use only and must not be
utilised for industrial or commercial purposes.
The appliance conforms to the IEC 60335-1 and IEC 60335-2-2
standards.

Warning - danger!
All installation and assembly operations must be performed with the appliance
disconnected from the mains power supply.
The assembly sequence is illustrated on page 4.
6.1
Assembly
When unpacking, check for any missing accessories or damage to the
contents. If damage caused in transit is found, notify your dealer at
once.
Lift the cover with the motor (A10) off the appliance, releasing the
catches (A6) and take out the accessories supplied, checking that the
filter (B1) and the filter (B2) are fitted correctly.
If filter (B2) has not been fitted, fit it so that it covers filter (B1)
completely.

6.2
Battery Charging (fig. 5)
IMPORTANT! Before using the device it is necessary to
fully charge the battery. Do not fully discharge the battery to keep
it efficient.
IMPORTANT! Recharge only with the battery charger
indicated by the manufacturer. An inappropriate battery charger
can cause a fire hazard when used with other battery units.
Warning - danger!
Check that the electricity supply voltage and frequency (V/Hz)
correspond to those specified on the data plate See fig.5
Use of extension cables
Use cables and plugs with "IPX5" protection level.
The cross-section of the extension cable should be proportional
to its length; the longer it is, the greater its cross-section should
be.
6.2.1 Take out the battery from its housing in the appliance by
operating the locking device (A15).
6.2.2 Insert the plug (A19) into the socket (A20) of the battery.
6.2.3 Plug the battery charger into the power socket.
6.2.4 The ignition of the red indicator light (A18), indicates the start
of the battery charge. The operating time for a fully discharged
battery is indicated in the technical data attached to these
instructions.
6.2.5 The end of charging is indicated by the green indicator
light (A18). The charging time for a completely empty battery is
indicated in the technical data attached to these instructions.
6.2.6 After charging, unplug the battery charger, take out the
battery and insert it in the appliance housing until you hear it click
into place.
IMPORTANT! Recharge the battery after each use. In case
of no-use, charge the battery every 4 months. If the performances
decrease significantly, recharge the battery. After a certain period
of use, the battery must be replaced. The battery lifetime is
influenced by several factors: charge/discharge cycles, heavy-
duty use, aging since manufacturing date, lack of charge and
care, storage at high temperatures.
