OPERATION: HOW TO USE YOUR STAPLER NAILER:
Using Your PowerShot Pro
Electric Stapler/Nail Gun
Selecting the Right Staple:
To maximize performance, your PowerShot
®
Pro Electric Stapler/Nail Gun has been
designed to work with genuine PowerShot
narrow crown heavy-duty staples in
various lengths from 1/4 inch to 9/16 inch
and 9/16 inch brad nails.
The PowerShot Pro
Gun is also compatible with other brands
of heavy duty staples such as Cobra™
® ®
*
and Arrow T-50
staples.
Selecting the Right Staple Length:
As a general guideline, when stapling into
wood, allow for leg penetration of
approximately 3/16".
For additional tips on selecting the right
staple length for specific applications, refer
to the Staple Selection Chart on page 9 of
this Instruction Manual.

Loading Staples and Nails
(Fig. 2, 3 and 4)
Unplug tool and lock trigger.
Select proper staple length.
The PowerShot Pro
Stapler/Nail Gun is equipped with a
Quick-Load Staple Chamber (Fig. 2)
Make sure there are no staples
jammed from previous usage by
checking the handle operation

If there are no jams, turn gun upside
down and tilt the gun away from
®
yourself and squeeze track release
and pull open staple chamber (Fig 2).
For maximum leverage squeeze track
release as close to housing as
possible.
Place staples into chamber with point
facing upwards and out of the stapler
(Fig. 3).
Close the staple chamber and ensure
that it has locked into place.
To load nails, lean nails against side
of chamber with "T" icon and Text
"Load Nails This Side" on housing,
(which is also the side of the stapler
with the staples remaining window).

Place nails into chamber with point
facing upwards and out of the stapler
(Fig. 4).
Close the staple chamber and ensure
that it has locked into place.
Using Wire Guide
.
To use as a Wire Tacker, slide lever
on side of gun forward. This engages
the wire guide on the bottom front of
the gun near the staple exit. Place
the wire guide over any low voltage
wire and proceed.

CAUTION: If a staple is
jammed, point the gun away
from yourself and others
before opening the track as
the jammed staple may be
fired out upon opening.
