Never lock the blade guard in its open
position except when changing blades as
described below.
Check that the blade guard can be moved
freely and that the closure mechanism works
correctly before use. Do not use the saw if
this is not the case.
Never use the guards to carry or lift the saw.
Never allow the blade to be in contact with
the item to be cut – or other objects – when
starting up the saw.
Check that there are no nails, screws or other
objects that could damage the blade in the
item to be cut, and that there are no similar
obstructions in the surface beneath the item.
Secure round objects to be sawn using
clamps or similar, as the rotation of the blade
may cause them to spin.
Do not use for routing or milling unless the
appropriate guards are � tted above the
bench, and never use for notching.
Replace the bench inlay once it is worn.
