JUNIOR SKATES
NOTE: Please read and keep this instruction manual for future reference.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Warning! Not suitable for children under 36 months on account of small parts, choking hazard, it's design
and intended use, falling hazard.
These skates are designed and manufactured in line with the European Standard EN71.
These skates must be assembled and safety checked by an adult.
These skates shall be used with caution since it requires great skill, to avoid falls or collisions causing injury
to the user and third parties.
Warning! Protective equipment must be worn.
Maximum weight 20kg.
Warning! Not to be used in traffic.
Not to be used during the night.
USER PRECAUTIONS
Please read the following instructions before using the skates.
• Before a child can ride the skates make sure all nuts, bolts and fasteners are securely tightened. Inspect
the rollerblades before each use and make sure all fasteners are securely tightened.
• Replace worn and broken parts immediately.
• Inspect wheels and brakes regularly for damage and lubricate the wheels at least once a year.
• Protective equipment should be worn. Make sure the driver is wearing the appropriate clothing.
• Wearing protective gear such as a helmet, gloves and knee/elbow pads is recommended.
• Always wear appropriate footwear.
• Warning! To be used under the direct supervision of an adult.• The skates should not be used on hills,
steep slopes, roads or where vehicles or animals may have access or be present.
• The skates should only be used on save skating areas that is smooth and free of any obstacles such as
tiles, tarmac, concrete or lawned surfaces.
• It is most important that the skater always looks in the skating direction and takes care to avoid other
children or unforeseen obstructions.
• Never allow the user to put any parts of the skates in their mouth or to attempt to put any part in his or her
body, or into the moveable or moving parts of the skates. The rider should be instructed accordingly.
• Never be towed by a bicycle or car.
• When the skates used in and around a house, avoid dangerous areas such as kitchens, staircases,
windows, porch, etc.
• Avoid excessive speed when descending inclines.
USING THE SKATES
• Make sure the child is comfortably positioned on the fully assembled and checked skates.
• Beginner skaters should practice basic skating skills like turning, braking and maintaining balance before
using the skates.
• Make sure that the skates are securely fastened before use.
• Demonstrate how to safely stop the skates.
• Only when the child has reached a stage where they are able to balance the skates, the child should be
allowed to use the skates unassisted, though not unsupervised.
• Routine safety checks and regular maintenance should be carried out frequently.
