The infrared thermometer can use a
visible laser beam when measuring.

Do not look directly into the laser beam,

as this may damage your sight!

The laser beam must not be directed at
people or animals, and it must not be
directed at any reflective material, such
as glass or foil.
The thermometer must not be exposed
to water or damp.
The thermometer must not be used to
measure the body temperature of ani-
mals or people.
Do not use the thermometer near elec-
tro-magnetic fields from arc welders,
induction heaters, etc.
Inaccurate readings may result from
measuring shiny or polished metal
surfaces.
The thermometer may not be able to
measure the temperature correctly in
environments where there is steam,
smoke, dust or other particles in the air.
Avoid exposing the thermometer to
dramatic changes in temperature in a
short time. Give the thermometer up
to 30 minutes to adapt to the ambient
temperature.
