SHOCK ABSORBER
The rear shock absorber allows three different types of adjustment.
- Adjusting the preload
Adjusting the preload on the shock absorber spring (A).
The shock absorber incorporates two rings that make it
possible to change the shock absorber spring preload:
one to determine the position and the other to set it.
- Adjusting high and low speed compression
Adjusting high and low speed compression of the shock ab-
sorber (B).
Access to the adjustment wheel is at the bottom of the swinging
arm at the front.
Adjusting the low speed compression makes it possible to modify
the low damping speed compression. This adjuster has around
20 clicks. With a small screwdriver the low damping speed can be
adjusted by turning the small screw on the inside of the purple
wheel. Completely to the right closes the adjuster. You can make
your bike more stable by closing the adjuster or gain a certain
amount of traction by opening it. With the low speed adjuster
completely open your bike will feel soft and will absorb small
bumps but will also be a little less stable.
The shock absorber is adjusted for a weight
of between 70 and 80 kgs.
