Electric Kettle Use Instructions
HOW TO USE IT ?
1. Place the kettle on a stable surface.
2. Remove the kettle body from the base and fill it with water, respecting MIN and MAX levels indicated on the
water level indicator. Water can be filled by opening the lid or through the pouring spout. Close the lid and put the
kettle body on the base. Plug the appliance to the electric socket.
3. Press on/off switch and the kettle starts to operate. The power indicator lights up. When the light turn off, water
is ready to be used. Press on/off switch to interrupt the cooking anytime in case of necessity.
4. Lift the kettle body only by the handle.
The kettle body becomes very hot and must not be touched directly with hands.
5. Disconnect the cord supply form the electric socket.
CLEANING
1. Unplug the appliance from the socket.
2. Let it cool down and clean with a damp sponge.
3. Do never use abrasive sponge to clean it.
4. Clean regularly, at least one a month if the water is had or more if the water is very hard.
To remove lime scale, use:
White wine vinegar 8°:
Fill the kettle with ½ liter of vinegar.
Let it for about one hour without heating it.
Empty the kettle and rinse 5 or 6 times.
Repeat if necessary.
Acid citric:
Make boiled 1 liter of water – add 25 g of acid citric and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
Empty the kettle and rinse it 5 or 6 times.
Repeat if necessary.
Do not use other methods or detergents to remove limescale.
In case of :
Use while empty
The kettle is on but without water in or the limescale activates the safety system and blocks the unit: let the
kettle cool down and fill it with water. Use the on/off switch to turn it on: the kettle will start again after approx.
15 minutes.
Smelly water
It does happen when the kettle is new. For the first times of use, throw away water. If the problem remains, fill
the kettle to MAX. level, and add 2 spoons of bicarbonate; boil it, throw away water and rinse the kettle body.

dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
