Information on noise and vibration
The level of noise emitted by the device is described by: the level of the
emitted sound pressure LpA and the sound power level LwA (where K is
the measurement uncertainty). The vibrations emitted by the device are
described by the value of the vibration acceleration ah (where K is the
measurement uncertainty).
The levels of emitted sound pressure LpA, sound power level LwA and
vibration acceleration ah given in this manual have been measured in
accordance with EN 62841-2-6. The stated vibration level ah can be used
for the comparison of devices and for the initial assessment of vibration
exposure.
The stated vibration level is representative only for the basic use of the
device. If the machine is used for different applications or with different
work tools, the vibration level may change. The higher vibration level will
be influenced by inadequate or too seldom maintenance of the device.
The reasons given above may result in an increased exposure to vibration
during the entire period of operation.
To accurately estimate exposure to vibration, consider periods when
the equipment is turned off or when it is turned on but not in use.
After all factors have been carefully assessed, the overall vibration
exposure may be significantly lower.
In order to protect the user against the effects of vibrations, additional
safety measures should be implemented, such as: periodic maintenance
of the device and working tools, protection of the appropriate temperature
of hands and proper organization of work.

The chipping hammer is a hand-held power tool with Class II insulation.
The device is driven by a single-phase commutator motor, the rotational
speed of which is reduced via a gear transmission. These types of power
tools are widely used for work in concrete, brick and related materials. The
areas of its use include the performance of renovation and construction
works.
Do not use the power tool for purposes other than those for which it was
intended.

PREPARATION TO WORK
ADJUSTMENT OF THE AUXILIARY HANDLE
For safety reasons, always use the auxiliary handle when handling
the hammer.
The auxiliary handle can be set in any position on the circumference of the
hammer housing.
•
Loosen the handle (6) by unscrewing the handle.
•
Rotate the auxiliary handle (6) around the perimeter of the hammer
housing to the most convenient position for the working conditions.
•
Tighten the handle (6)
ASSEMBLY AND CHANGE OF WORKING TOOLS
The hammer is adapted to work with working tools with SDS Max shanks.
Before starting work, clean the hammer and working tools. Using grease,
apply a thin layer of grease to the shank of the working tool. This operation
will increase the service life of the machine.
When inserting the tool, be careful not to damage the dust cover (1).
A damaged dust cover must be replaced immediately. We
recommend that the cover be replaced by an authorized service
center.
ATTENTION: Always disconnect the power tool from the power
supply before performing maintenance or changing the working
tool!
•
Rest the hammer on the workbench.
•
Make sure there is no dirt on the working tool, install only clean and
lubricated working tools.
•
Place the working tool in the bushing of the breaker by twisting and
applying gentle pressure to the working tool. The correct working tool
will slide further into the hammer sleeve when in the correct position.
•
Pull the working tool to check the connection.
The hammer's high efficiency is only achieved when sharp and
undamaged working tools are used.
REMOVAL OF THE WORK TOOL
The working tools may be hot right after finishing work. Avoid direct
contact with them and use suitable protective gloves. Working tools
must be cleaned after removal.
•
Rest the hammer on the workbench.
•
Pull the lock ring (2) back and pull out the working tool.
CHISEL ADJUSTMENT
To set the working tool in a convenient position, after installing it, pull back
the chisel position lock (3), turn the chisel to a convenient position, release
the chisel position lock (3), which will return to its original position.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON / OFF
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage specified on the
hammer's rating plate.
Press and hold the on / off switch (5) to start the power tool.
To lock the depressed on / off switch (5), press the lock button (4).
To switch off the blocked switch, press the on / off switch (5) and release
it.
The hammer must not be used if the switch is damaged.
