WARNING
Remove the plug from the mains socket, then let the unit
cool down properly before cleaning it.
• The upper part of the unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
• Keep the soleplate smooth: avoid any contact with hard metal
objects. Remove calcium and all other residues from the
soleplate with a damp cloth.
Self-cleaning
Set the pushbutton to
Remove the iron without the cable from the base.
• Make sure there is enough water in the water tank.
Set the temperature controller to •••/MAX.
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• When the indicator light turns off and back on again, unplug
the power plug from the mains socket.
Press the self-clean button for approx. 1 minute. A strong spray
of steam and hot water will be released to clean the steam
chamber. Let the iron heat up again; the rest of the water inside
the steam chamber will then become steam.
