Metal Die, Plastic Shim, Magnetic Shim, and White Cutting Plate on top.

Cutting Very Intricate Dies
By the very nature of their design, very intricate dies may require the addition of a Metal Shim into
the sandwich to improve cutting performance. You may also need to pass your combination
through the machine two or three times. This is not because of the amount of pressure applied to
the die during the cutting process, but due to the detailed nature of the design you are cutting.
Recommended Combination: White Cutting Plate on the bottom, then the Metal Shim, Material
to be cut, Metal Die, Plastic Shim, Magnetic Shim, and Clear Cutting Plate on top.
