• Make sure that the welding machine is connected to the socket with grounding.
• Do not directly touch the internal paths of the welding machine. The quiescent
voltage supplied by the welding machine can be dangerous.
• Before replacing the electrode, turn off the welding machine.
• Do not use welding cables if they are damaged or heavily worn.
• It is forbidden to weld surfaces near flammable or explosive materials.
• Do not weld containers under pressure.
• Duty cycle means the time of continuous operation of the welding machine. It refers
to 10 minutes (at 40°C). If the duty cycle is 20%, it means that the welding machine can
weld for 2 minutes, then it must cool for 8 minutes. Do not exceed the specified cycle,
and when the cycle is reached, wait until the welding machine cools down.
• The welding machine should not be used for defrosting.
• Most electrodes need to be connected to the socket + of the welding machine, however,
some electrodes (e.g. rutile electrode) may need to be connected to socket -. Before
starting welding, check the correct polarity for the electrodes used and the correct
welding current.
• Due to the nature of welding, its quality can depend on many factors, such as the
diameter and quality of the electrode, the length of the weld and/or the skills of the
user.
Residual risks
Even when the power tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual risk
factors. The following hazards may arise in connection with the power tool's construction
and design:
• Damage to lungs if a dust mask is not worn.
• Damage to hearing if hearing protection is not worn.
• Health defects resulting from vibration emission if the power tool is being used over
longer period of time or not adequately managed and properly maintained.
• Injuries and damage to property to due to broken accessories that are suddenly dashed.
Warning!
This power tool produces an electromagnetic field during operation. This field may under
some circumstances interfere with active or passive medical implants. To reduce the risk
of serious or fatal injury, we recommend persons with medical implants to consult their
physician and the medical implant manufacturer before operating this power tool.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE POWER TOOL
Intended use
