PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS BEFORE USE
To reduce the risk of physical damage, everyone who uses, installs, repairs, maintains or replaces accessories, but also
works near the tool, should read and understand all the points in these instructions.
Possible risks from power supply and connections
• Pressurized air can cause serious damage.
• Always stop the air distribution and disconnect the tool from the network to replace accessories, repair it or in case
of non-use.
• Always use the tool at a safe distance from people near the work area.
• Whipping of pipes can cause serious damage; check pipes and connections carefully for loss or breakage.
• Do not exceed the maximum air pressure limit of 6,3 bar or the value indicated on the plate of the pneumatic tool.
• Handle hoses and connectors with care. Do not transport the tool by grasping it by the pipe. Do not pull it by force
to disconnect it from the air supply. Keep pipes away from heat sources, lubricants and sharp edges.
• Check the hoses for wear before use. Check that all connections are secure.
Risks caused by fragments
• Use eye and face protection whenever handling the tool.
• Smaller fragments could also cause eye damage and blindness.
• The explosion of pneumatic tools can cause serious damage.
How to avoid the risk of being entangled?
• Keep a suitable distance from working drills, blades, moving tools, etc.
• Do not wear loose fitting clothing or jewellery and avoid long hair.
Risks caused by operation
• Wear protective gloves for hands.
• Do not modify the tool and its accessories.
• Operators and maintenance personnel must be physically able to manage the power of the tool and monitor the
necessary operations.
• Never point the nose of the tool at yourself or anyone else.
• Blind rivets must be used as specified.
• Mount the end cap according to the size of the rivet. Never force the rivet tail into the end cap. Never use a tip
wider than the rivet tail.
• Hold the riveter firmly until the rivet tail cut is completed and ejected. Otherwise, release the trigger and resume
pulling by pulling the trigger again.
• Never install a rivet without the rivet tail recuperator. The collector must be emptied periodically.
• DO NOT use the riveter if the safety cap is not in place.
Dangers caused by working conditions
• Slipping, tripping and falling are the main causes of accidents.
• The noise level can cause permanent damage to hearing. Employers and occupational safety bodies recommend the
use of earmuffs.
• Keep your body in balance and firmly on your feet. Repetitive work movements, unusual positions and exposure to
vibration can be harmful to hands and arms. In case of numbness, tingling, pain or pallor, stop using the tool and
see a doctor.
• Keep the work area clean and clear and ensure that there is sufficient lighting.
• DO NOT wet the riveter or use it in humid areas or condensation zones.
Vibrations
Under normal conditions in accordance with the operating instructions, vibrations do not present a safety risk.
Noise emissions
The information provided will enable the user of this equipment to make the best possible assessment of the hazards
and risks to which it will be exposed.
