Safety gloves and safety shoes.
Trained person operating the pallet truck. Experienced in the transport of heavy and
en
bulky items.
1. Insert the forks fully under the load until they project beyond the far side.
WARNING! Risk of the load tipping. Be aware of the centre of gravity. Distribute the
load equally on the two forks. Apply additional security to the load. Comply with the
maximum load capacity. Keep the load clearly in view at all times. Allow for the effects
of wind. In a hazardous situation, stop the pallet truck and carefully lower the load.
2. To raise the load, push the control lever down and move the tiller up and down in a pumping
action until the load is clear of the ground.
3. To move a laden pallet truck slowly, pull or push on the tiller.
i
The forces to be applied when operating the pallet truck and executing the turning radius are
dependent on the size of the load, the character of the ground and the condition of the pallet truck.
NOTICE! Do not turn the tiller through a right angle to stop the pallet truck.
4. To lower the load, slowly pull the control lever up and fully lower the load forks.
5. Removing the pallet truck from under the load.
6. Slowly and fully lower the load forks, park at a flat place and secure against rolling away.
8. Rectification of faults and malfunctions

Fault
The load forks do not raise, do
not raise fully or raise only
slowly.
The load forks do not lower or
do not lower completely.
Possible causes
Lower oil level.
Oil contaminated.
Lifting mechanism incorrectly
adjusted.
Failure to achieve the rated load
capacity.
Ambient temperature too low
and oil too viscous.
Air in the hydraulic pump.
The load forks are obstructed
by an object.
Lifting mechanism incorrectly
adjusted.

Push the control lever up, keep
it pressed, and perform pump-
ing movements with the tiller.
