LOCATING FAULTS

PROBLEM
The UPS will not
switch on
UPS constantly
operating in Battery
Mode
Duration of the back-
up battery too short
Continuous audio

Red Battery Failure
LED on
Should problems or malfunctions occur that are not listed above, or if the above operations cannot be
performed, call technical support giving full details of any problems.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The ON/OFF button was not pressed
right down.
UPS failure
Loose power cable
The thermal protection switch has
been activated.
Line voltage too high, too low or
power black-out
UPS failure
Batteries not fully charged
Batteries are damaged
Overload
Battery failure
Press the ON/OFF button
correctly.
Call technical support
Check that the power cable is firmly
connected to the mains outlet
Press the thermal protection switch to
restore UPS operation
Restore mains power supply
Call technical support
Charge the UPS for at least 6 hours
Replace the batteries
Disconnect non-essential loads
Replace the batteries
