USING THE KETTLE
NOTE:
Before first use, fill with water to the maximum mark, bring to the boil and discard - this
will ensure that your kettle is perfectly clean.

Lift the lid. Fill to the desired level between the MIN (0.25 liter) and MAX (0,5 liter) marks on the
water gauge.
Close the lid by pressing firmly until you hear a click.
Switching On
To switch the kettle on, push the On/Off switch (D) up. The Power Indicator (G) will light.
Switching Off
When the water has boiled the kettle will switch off automatically. You can stop the boiling process
at any time by pressing the On/Off switch down.
WARNING!
Never open the lid if steam is coming from the spout.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Disconnect from the mains supply before cleaning.
Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the kettle.
Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents as these may damage the finish of your
kettle.
Decalcification
Decalcify your kettle at least twice a year using a proprietary descaling solution (follow the
manufacturers instructions carefully).
Alternatively, half fill the kettle with water, add the juice of a lemon or some vinegar, then boil and
allow to stand for 15 minutes.
