5.6 Removing the USB device safely
Before removing the USB device, first select the option for safely removing the
USB device. As soon as a message appears saying that you can remove the de-
vice safely, you can safely proceed with disconnection of the USB.

7. REC Menu
Here you can you check storage information and set up for PVR function.
7.1 PVR Storage Information
This option will format the USB storage disk (Yellow button) with FAT or NTFS
formats. You can also select (Blue button) if you want to use the disk for recor-
ding function, Timeshift or Recording and Timeshift (REC & TMS).
7.2 PVR Setting
In this option you can enable or disable the availability of Timeshift function. You
can also change the time interval jumps (Jump) that are available pressing the FF
/ RR while playing a recording, enable the option to switch from Timeshift to re-
cording (you can use it pressing the REC button during a Timeshift), choice bet-
ween PS recording (MPEG2) or TS (record the entire signal) modes, and finally
choose if you want the unit goes to Standby after finishing a recording.
7.2.2 Recording (REC)
This unit features a dual tuner, allowing you to record one channel while viewing
another, or record two different channels at once. If you record two channels at
once you only can switch between the channels that are on the same frequency
that you are recording. To Record the follow these steps when you are watching
a channel:
1. Press the record button (REC) to start recording.
2. Press the record button (REC) to adjust the length of the recording.
3. Press the Stop button to stop playback.
4. Press the USB button to quickly display the recorded files.
