Use
Press the on/off button (5). The display (3)
comes on.
Loosen the locking knob (2) by turning it
anticlockwise so that the angle rule's rulers
(1) can be moved relative to one another.
Place the angle rule on a fl at surface so that
the rulers are fl ush with one plane of the
angle. See fi gure C.
Press the reset button (6).
Swivel one of the rulers until the desired
angle is achieved. Read the angle off the
display.
If necessary, tighten the locking knob (2)
if you want to keep the angle rule in this
position.
You can also unfold the rulers so that they are
in line with one another at an angle of 180°
and use this position as the starting point for
your measurement. See fi gure D.
If you swivel the rulers more than 360°
relative to one another, the display will show
the error message "Err". See fi gure E.
The angle rule automatically switches off
after approximately 4 minutes. You can also
switch it off using the on/off button.
Note! If the angle rule is exposed to radio
interference or static electricity, it can aff ect
its measurements. Remove the battery, wait
30 seconds and re-insert the battery.
