Always wear heat resistance oven mitts or gloves during use. The lid and body of the product
become hot during use, so be sure to keep your hands and forearms protected.

• Be especially careful if you are grilling in colder weather or at a higher altitude, cooking time
will be longer.
• If the wind blows strongly, it will raise the temperature of the charcoal grill, so you should
always be close to the grill and keep the lid closed as long as possible.
Follow the basic maintenance instructions to keep your product in good condition and to its
best use for many years.
• Before cleaning and moving the product make sure it is completely cold, otherwise you could
burn yourself.
• For proper airflow and best grilling, remove accumulated ash and old carbon from the bottom
of the product before use. Make sure all charcoal is completely extinguished and grill is cool
before doing so.
• Brush charred grease from inside of lid with a bristle stainless steel grill brush.
• We recommend that you clean the outside of the product with a damp cloth and warm soapy
water. Then dry it with a dry cloth or paper.
• Do not use sharp or abrasive objects to clean the surfaces of the product.
