Wide Path Nozzle:
NOTE: The wide path nozzle has two inserts that can be
changed for desired use.
 To change the insert, pull the tab to release and remove.
 Align the new insert and press the tab until it clicks.
To clean with the wide path nozzle:
 Using the wide path nozzle, scrub and break up stubborn
stains.
NOTE: Scrub back and forth while applying downward
pressure.
 Hold the wide path nozzle at an angle and suction away
debris and moisture.
 Continue applying solution, scrubbing, and suctioning
until the stains or spots are removed.
NOTE: Always hold the wide path nozzle at an angle when
suctioning. Suctioning power decreases when the wide
path nozzle is horizontal to the cleaning surface.
NOTE: If the motor begins to whine or if suction decreases
during use, turn the spot cleaner off and empty the re-
covery tank as described later in Maintenance.
 When cleaning is complete, press the ON/OFF button to
stop the spot cleaner.
 Remove the battery pack and remove the spot cleaner
from the cleaned area.
 Empty and clean the recovery tank as described later in
Maintenance.
 Allow the area to dry.
OPERATION
NOTICE:
Keep bystanders, children, and pets away from the
cleaned area until it is completely dry. If additional clean-
ing is required, wait until the area is completely dry before
using the appliance again.
REMOVING/EMPTYING/REATTACHING THE
RECOVERY TANK
See Figures 10 - 11, page 11.
Remove and clean the recovery tank after every use.
NOTE: The recovery tank is bottom rack dishwasher safe up
to 140°F. Use the low-heat setting for best results.
To remove:
 Remove the battery pack.
 Place the unit on a level surface.
 Slide the tank release lever on the recovery tank. While
holding the lever use the handle on the tank to pull away
to release.
To empty:
 Place the recovery tank on a level surface. Use the tabs
to remove the lid of the tank.
 Move the recovery tank over a suitable container or drain.
 Empty the contents and rinse the tank.
 Replace the lid and secure.
To reattach:
 Reinstall the tank by inserting and rocking it into the unit
until it is in place. The tank release lever will click to lock
securely.
