7.1 GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Do not spray the unit with water. Ingress of water may destroy the control panel unit
and the electric motor. Clean the unit with a cloth, hand brush, etc.
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating
oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken, or
destroy plastic which can result in serious personal injury.
1. Turn off your machine and remove the battery pack.
2. Clear any snow in the auger housing with the clean-out tool.
3. Clean dirt and debris from the machine using a damp cloth with a mild detergent.
4. Do not use any strong detergents on the plastic housing or the handle. They can be
damaged by certain aromatic oils, such as pine and lemon, and by solvents such as
kerosene.
5. Completely dry your machine before use. A damp machine presents a shock hazard.
7.2 REPLACE THE WHEEL
Always wear gloves when performing any maintenance.
1.
Remove the battery packs before any maintenance. Lay the snow blower on its
side, then pull out the locking pin to remove the outer gasket and the wheel. Save
the inner gasket on the wheel shaft. (Fig.13)
2.
Replace the wheel with a new one. (PN: GMA-W)
3.
Reassemble the gear, new wheel, and outer gasket in reverse order. Lock them
with the locking pin.

7.3 REPLACE THE SCRAPER BAR
Auger is sharp, always wear gloves when performing any maintenance near the auger.
Check frequently for wear and replace the scraper bar every 50 working hours for ideal
working conditions.
The scraper bar is located at the bottom of the snow blower housing. In the
1.
process of snow blowing, the bar may touch the ground or stone directly, resulting
in wear. Remove the battery and turn the snow blower on its side to work on the
tool. (Fig. 14)
Use a Hex wrench to remove the 5 nuts and washers under the bottom of the
2.
housing. Remove the worn scraper bar from the snow blower. (Fig. 14)
3.
Attach the new scraper bar (PN: GMA-SB24) to the bottom of the snow blower
housing with the shiny surface facing the inside of the housing and the rough
surface with bars facing the outside of the housing. Align the mounting holes in
the scraper bar with the holes in the housing. Insert the 5 bolts into the mounting
holes from the inside, shiny surface of the scraper bar.
Place the five washers and nuts on the bolts (from the outside of the housing)
4.
and use a hex wrench to fasten the scraper bar to the housing securely.
