Loosen and remove the nuts, gaskets, and the skid shoe from the bolts (Fig.15A).
1.
2.
Replace the skid shoe with a new one, if necessary. (PN: GMA-SS)
3.
The height of the skid shoes can be adjusted according to the actual snow
conditions without removing the nuts. Just loosen the nuts, adjust the skid-shoe
position up or down, and then retighten (Fig.15B).
4.
Ensure the shoes are adjusted to the same height on both sides.

7.5 REPLACE THE SHEAR PIN
Auger is sharp. Always wear gloves when performing any maintenance on the auger.
Do not at any time make any adjustments to the machine without first removing the
battery packs.
NOTE: The shear pins are located in the auger shaft. They aid in absorbing the instant stall
torque when the auger strikes obstacles during working and protect the gearbox and motor
from damage.
1.
Remove the locking pin from the shear pin on each side and then pull out the
broken shear pin. (Fig.16)
Carefully align the auger to the auger shaft and insert the new shear pin (GMA-SP)
2.
into the slot, then insert the locking pin to secure the auger. (Fig.16)

NOTE: The auger will become worn during operation, change the auger every 50hrs of
working time.
1.
Remove the three screws on both left and right of the auger housing (Fig.17A).
Remove the auger, together with the gearbox as a whole set from the housing.
