The hammer is adapted to work with working tools with hexagonal shanks.
Before starting work, clean the hammer and working tools. Using grease,
apply a thin layer of grease to the shank of the working tool. This operation
will increase the service life of the machine.
When inserting the tool (Figure A), be careful not to damage the dust
cover. A damaged dust cover must be replaced immediately. We
recommend that the cover be replaced by an authorized service
center.
ATTENTION: Always disconnect the power tool from the power
supply before performing maintenance or changing the working
tool!
•
Rest the hammer on the workbench.
•
Turn the working tool locking socket (1) 180 ° and insert the working
tool into the tool holder. The bushing in the working tool should point
towards the stopper socket.
•
Turn the working tool lockout (1) to its original position to lock the tool.
•
Check the latch by pulling on the working tool.
The hammer's high efficiency is only achieved when sharp and
undamaged working tools are used.
REMOVAL OF THE WORK TOOL
The working tools may be hot right after finishing work. Avoid direct
contact with them and use suitable protective gloves. Working tools
must be cleaned after removal.
•
Rest the hammer on the workbench.
•
Turn the working tool locking socket (1) 180 ° and remove the working
tool from the tool holder.
•
Turn the working tool locking socket (1) to its original position.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON / OFF
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage specified on the
hammer's rating plate.
Press and hold the on / off switch (4) to start the power tool (Figure B).
To lock the depressed on / off switch (4), press the lock button (5).
To switch off the blocked switch, press the on / off switch (4) and release
it.
The hammer must not be used if the switch is damaged.
HAMMER WORK, DEMOLITION
Hold the hammer firmly with both hands and start it. For best performance,
a certain amount of constant moderate pressure (not excessive) should
be exerted on the breaker as this would reduce the efficiency of the work.
The hammer has been properly lubricated by the manufacturer and is
ready for use. A hammer filled with solid lubricant takes some time to warm
up, depending on the ambient temperature. If the hammer is left (not in
use) for a long time or is used in cold weather, allow it to run for 2-3 minutes
without load.
Sharpened working tools increase work efficiency. Uncleaned vents
reduce the risk of the engine overheating.
During operation, it is possible for a small amount of grease to
escape between the working tool and the handle. This is normal.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Before commencing any adjustment, maintenance or
repair activities, disconnect the device from the power supply!
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
•
The hammer is best cleaned with a soft brush or a stream of
compressed air at low pressure.
•
Do not use water or chemical cleaners to clean the hammer.
•
The engine ventilation slots should be kept unobstructed.
•
In the event of excessive sparking on the commutator, have the
condition of the motor carbon brushes checked by a qualified person.
•
Power cord replacement or other repairs should only be performed by
an authorized service workshop.
•
Always store the hammer in a dry place out of the reach of children
POWER TOOL LUBRICATION
When the tool has been in service for more than 60 hours, lubricate it.
Open the grease hole cover by unscrewing the cover screws with a
screwdriver, and then wash off the used grease with a towel. Use 30
grams of hammer grease to lubricate the power tool.
Carbon brushes replacement should be entrusted only to a qualified
person, using original parts. All kinds of faults should be removed
by the manufacturer's authorized service.
Electrically powered products should not be disposed of
with household waste, but should be disposed of in
appropriate facilities. Information on disposal can be
obtained from the dealer of the product or local authorities.
Waste electrical and electronic equipment contains
substances that are not neutral for the natural
environment. Non-recycled equipment is a potential threat
to the environment and human health.
