BASE ASSEMBLY (F-12DW & F-16DW Only)
1. Detach screw from base of the fan.
2. Match locking tab to base and click into position.
3. Tighten the screw in the base to secure the fan to the base.
ASSEMBLY OF BLADE AND GRILLS (All Models)
1. Unscrew the spinner clockwise and the nut counter clockwise and remove
both of them.
2. Set the rear grill in the proper position with the handle up.
3. Screw on plastic nut tightly to attach grill.
4. Discard plastic sleeve on shaft.
5. Install the blade onto the shaft until the retaining pin fits into the notch on
the blade.
6. Screw spinner on to motor shaft counterclockwise.
7. Mount the Front Grill and join both Grills together using the Clips.
Operation Instructions:
IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding
as there may be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
Attention: First use may cause a slight odor or small smoking upon heating, it
is normal. This is a result of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly
goes away.
Speed control Speed is controlled by the button switch or rotary switch
F-9DW: OFF--Off L--Low H---High
F-12DW or F-16DW: OFF--Off L--Low M---Medium H---High
Oscillation Control
To make the fan oscillate, push down on the oscillation knob located on the
top of the motor housing. To stop the fan down from oscillating in the position
desired, push on the oscillating knob once more.
Tilting Control
The airflow can be adjusted upward or downward by tilting the fan head to a
vertical angle as desired.
Cleaning Your Fan:
WARNING: Make sure the blades have come to a complete stop before
proceeding with cleaning.
NOTICE: Always unplug the product before cleaning or storing it.
1. Turn the dial to "Off" and disconnect the power cord from the electrical
outlet.
2. Allow the blades to come to a complete stop and remove the grill plate.
3. With a soft damp cloth carefully wipe the blades. Making sure water does
not drip into the fan motor housing.
NOTE: Do not use thinners, benzene or any other type of abrasive materials
to clean the fan. For stubborn spots use a small amount of mild soap to scrub
the area. Wipe clean.
4. Carefully wipe clean and replace the grill plate securing it in place.
